Each time I crash a plane I record the event on here. It's fun to look back and to track the crashes I've had as time goes on. Hopefully this becomes a very static page. (Hover/click for a description on what happened).

Spitfire - 2007 (ParkZone): nose dive from ~100' broke wing at root Lost wing at root again crashed directly into goal post, able to save motor -barely lost wing again, need to replace, repaired w/ fiber glass, too heavy?

FW-190 - 2007 (ParkZone): Lost in sunlight, came down very hard, broke fuse into two pieces Tried to turn around on dead stick landing trouble with tail plane, lost control at the top of loop

Hellcat, I - 2007 (semi-scale scratch): Initial Flight, broke apart on landing 2nd prototype flight, broke apart again on landing, rebuilt fuse landed upside down, had to fix rudder Father learning to fly, nose dive from 20', broken motor

Notes: Retired after very long history due to bent prop shaft.

BF-109F, Ricky Von Ratte - 10/2007 (scratch): Forced landing after impressive jump into air, nose needed rebuilt broke elevator on landing Goal post wins again, ripped wing off impressively at root, rebuilt landed on top of fence to save small spectator, cracked wing, repaired

Gutted for parts for FW190, Red 3

SE5A - 11/2007 (scratch): completely fell apart on landing, blues brother style, decided to retire
Notes: Retired, flown to pieces, gutted for parts to go to
F6F Hellcat, Lucky II

P-47 Thunderbolt, 86 - 11/2007 (scratch): Ailerons inverted! Too late! Nose dive from 50' Completely destroied wing, fuse, only tail and canopy survived Another great crash, plane caught in lines of stunt kite, brought kite and plane down from 100' minor damage, magnets saved airframe!

F6F Hellcat, Lucky II - 04/2008 (scratch): Nosed in on landing, cracked cowl Nosed in again, broke motor mount Lost power on take off, broke motor mount, motor burned out?

MiG15, 456 - 2008 (scratch EDF): tried to fly on lower powered battery Lost power in wind on approach, knicked tree top landed in yard HARD, attacked by dog!
Notes: Destroyed, hit a tree top on loss of power, mostly eaten by dog, parts to 457.

MiG15, 457 - 2008 (scratch EDF):
Notes: EDF vastly not effective, larger, lighter power supply needed, scrapped for redesign.

P-51D, Blown' Kisses - 05/2008 (scratch): hand launch botched, motor mount broken hand launch botched again, motor mount broken again

FW-190, Red 3 - 07/2008 (scratch): flaps to heavy on dead stick approach, tried to make turn, stalled from about 8' cracked fuse, split foam spinner!

Lost Spinners: lost at ~1200 feet see above crash number one tore apart on take off, magnets did not work in field
Notes: "How High?" shows my current record of ~1400 feet.

Neuiport 17 - 09/2008(scratch): Great take off followed by a nice cartwheel, no control athority, wing destroyed, struts severed, rebuild required

F4U Corsair - 10/2008 (scratch): Wing clipped the ground on low pass, minor damage after cartwheel, an easy fix Nosed in heavy after tail servo failed, broken prop

F6F Hellcat, III - 01/2009 (scratch): Nosed in after attempted bungee launch, broken prop seperated motor mount Ripped Tale off on attempted bungee launch

Notes: Phlatprinter build, clone of Lucky II, test bed for a P38 power plant (disapointing).

Fokker DVII - 04/2009 (scratch): Under Powered, lost in the wind after nice take off

Heavily upgrtaded the motor, but broke the first rule due to perfect conditions, lost top wing 3/4 through a loop at full power, shot the ground like an arrow, recovered tail ONLY =) -That was a good one!

Notes: Phlatprinter build, 40" wingspan. Rebuilt in one day using Phlatprinter (7/09).

Hawker Typhoon - 07/2009 (scratch): Lost power low to ground, stalled out, impossible to recover
